The project is to build a business directory script that is easy to use and brings back the results you need every time. the directory will have features in the ads that will allow users to contact the business instantly such as click to call, request a call back and enquiry form. Every time a lead is generated through these features, this stat is then recorded into the customers account where they get invoiced and billed every month according to the number of leads that were generated for the month.
The search capabilities needs to incorporate the instant find feature found on google search or on your iphone where instant search is displayed based on your submitted keywords. The search results will be based upon keywords submitted by the client when they sign up an account as well as meta keyword data from a crawler which will also need to be be built as part of this project and is found in the signup process.
The search results will be based on client location derived from mobile phone data, GPS or ISP data if user is at home. The results of the search will be ranked based on distance from the user. The closer the business, the higher the business will be ranked in the results. If a business is completely mobile, they can choose a master suburb plus up to 10 suburbs that they service and rankings will be based on closest suburb to the searcher + an auto rotation of ads where all ads will be rotated to share the top positions.
business, industry categories will be available to you to load into database as well postcode and suburb data for australia. I will also have harvested businesses in spreadsheet format from yellow pages to use for business listings.
I also require that each keyword that is used from searches be recorded into a database for analysis.
As per the attached mockup. The areas that I need built is the homepage, search engine, results pages, ads structure (which includes click to call, maps, request a callback,email enquiry) signup process, auto add a pinpont to a maps service (bing or google maps) the clients control panel so they can edit their ads and personal details and view invoices and billing data and the master control panel to administer clients and listings. I will also need a basic billing and invoicing system that allows me to track the number of leads generated for that business and bill them accordingly via paypal. Analytics pages not to be built yet.
Mockup of layout and features attached. I'm open to any suggestions to getting this project built properly including using prebuilt scripts, drupal or whatever you think will be the best course of action.
This is a large project and so I require experienced fulltime professionals that pride themselves on working hard and getting the job done. You also must have good communication skills and respond to my questions in a reasonable timeframe as well as talk on skype. If you code for a hobby or are just not serious, dont bother bidding. The coder has to work with me to iron out all the bugs and tweak all features until its all running smoothly and Im happy with it before I release final payment.
